Book club

We are launching our very first Book Club. This is open to all our patients and we would love to see you there. We will be meeting once a month (usually the first Tuesday of each month) at Hawes Surgery at 6.15pm (to make use of the pacious waiting room). Light refreshments will be provided. If you are unable to come in person, we will have a Teams link available for you to join online.

We feel it is a nice opportunity for people to come together, have a natter, read some new books and enjoy a shared interest. 

The fist book we will be reading is Still Life by Sarah Winman (see image below) and the first meeting will take place on Tuesday 1st October 2024 (to give everyone a chance to read the book).

We have a space copy of the book at each surgery for those who may not be able to access a copy (to borrow, read and return) and audio & Kindle should be available through the local library.

If you would like to join the Book Club, simply pop in to Aysgarth Surgery and complete the Sign Up Form (or call 01969 663222 on an afternoon and Elizabeth can email you a copy of the form to complete and return). If you are unsure about joining, don’t worry, you can just pop in on the first evening and see what you think.
